How to kill the final Bowser!

Ok its really simple so all you need to do is go to a giant mushroom(the ones with orange spots and a yellow background) then get the giant mushroom keep it in your inventory and DO NOT DIE WITH IT!So then go through the final level then once Giant Bowser comes in use the giant mushroom!
